HoneyHop is a one-tap hopping game made by Meyer App Studio, LLC for children ages 4 and up, and anyone can play it. This policy covers the Android app on Google Play. HoneyHop itself collects no personal information. It shows ads from Google AdMob, set up for children, which receive some technical information from the device, and it offers purchases through Google Play. This page explains what each of those involves.
Honey, the hats, fur colors, accessories, backgrounds and levels you own and have chosen, your best run, your number of runs, and the Sounds setting are saved in the app's storage on your device. They are never sent to us. HoneyHop has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics and no crash reporting.
If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include this game data in that backup. Google stores the backup in your account; we cannot see it.
HoneyHop is free to play and shows ads from Google AdMob:
The app treats every ad request as coming from a child, whatever the player's age. It tags each request as directed at children and as from a user under the age of consent, and limits ads to content rated G. With these settings, Google turns off personalized ads and remarketing, and the advertising ID is not sent. The app also removes Android's advertising ID permission, so it cannot read the advertising ID at all.
To deliver ads and protect against ad fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the app sends Google technical information from the device: its IP address (from which an approximate location can be worked out), the device model and Android version, diagnostic information about how ads load and perform, and device identifiers other than the advertising ID, such as the app set ID. Google's handling of that information is described in Google's advertising policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
Buying "No more ads" stops the full-screen ads for good. The optional video is still offered after a run, and still plays only if you choose it.
Because every ad request is treated as coming from a child, HoneyHop does not show a consent form, and Google serves only non-personalized ads in these regions. We do not ask children to consent to anything.
"No more ads", "Every hat" and "Jar of honey (100)" are processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles your payment details and keeps your purchase history; we never see or store your card or account information. The app asks Google Play which purchases you own so it can unlock them, and Restore purchases is in the Grown-ups screen.
Every purchase, the Grown-ups screen, and every link that leaves the app sit behind "Ask a grown-up": a multiplication question, closed after three wrong answers.
HoneyHop uses two Google services: Google AdMob for ads and Google Play Billing for purchases. Each works under Google's own privacy policy. The app includes no other advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting services.
On Google Play, HoneyHop is offered under Meyer App Studio's standard End-User License Agreement, in addition to the Google Play Terms of Service.
HoneyHop is made for children and follows Google Play's Families policy. We do not collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you are a parent and have a question about your child's use of the app, contact us.
We keep no copy of your game progress. Uninstalling the app removes it from your device; a Google account backup, if you use one, is managed in your Google account settings. Advertising and purchase records are held by Google under its own policies.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
