HoneyHop is a game for children made by Meyer App Studio, LLC. It shows advertising and offers in-app purchases, so this policy explains exactly what that involves. The short version: the app itself collects nothing about you or your child, and its ads are configured for children.
HoneyHop has no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Honey, hats, best runs, and settings are saved only on the device and are deleted with the app.
HoneyHop shows a short advertisement after some runs and offers an optional video that lets a run continue. Ads are served by Google AdMob. The app tells AdMob that it is made for children, which means: ads are not personalised, no advertising identifier is used, ads are limited to content rated for a general audience, and the app never asks permission to track. To serve an ad, AdMob receives technical information from the device such as its IP address and device type. Google's handling of that information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Buying "No more ads" removes advertising from the game permanently.
Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see payment details. Every purchase, and every link that leaves the app, sits behind a question intended for a grown-up.
On iOS, HoneyHop is offered under Apple's standard end-user license agreement — see the Licensed Application End User License Agreement. On Google Play, HoneyHop is offered under Meyer App Studio's standard End-User License Agreement, in addition to the Google Play Terms of Service.
HoneyHop is designed for children and is offered in the App Store's Kids category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, and we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple's guidelines for kids' apps.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
