Add the parts you need and the stock you're cutting from: a 4×8 sheet of plywood, 8′ boards, whatever is in the rack. Tallycraft lays out every sheet and board as you type, allowing for your saw's kerf, edge trim and grain direction. Open any sheet to step through the cuts one at a time at the saw.
Tap + and choose Import Cut List. You can paste a cut list copied from any plan or web page for free. With Tallycraft Pro you can also scan a printed plan, pick a screenshot, or open a PDF or CSV (including exports from SketchUp CutList and CutList Plus). You can also share a PDF or CSV to Tallycraft from Files, Mail or Safari. Review the parts Tallycraft found, fix anything it misread, and create the project. If a line isn't recognized, try the format “2 – Side 23 1/4 x 34 1/2”.
Layouts, cutting diagrams, step-by-step cuts, offcut tracking, pasting cut lists and every sample project at its standard size are free. Tallycraft Pro is a one-time purchase, with no subscription, that adds plan scanning and file import, custom-size sample builders, Deep Optimize, PDF workshop blueprints and project cost estimates.
If Tallycraft asks you to unlock Pro after you've already bought it, open Settings and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you purchased with. Pro unlocks on any iPhone or iPad signed into that account.
Tallycraft has no account and no server. Projects and offcuts are stored only on your device and don't sync between devices. Deleting the app deletes that data, so keep an iCloud or computer backup if you want a copy. Export a PDF blueprint to keep a copy of a project's plan.
Tallycraft plans cuts. Always check measurements before cutting, and follow your tool's safety instructions.
