WalkProof™ is a property condition and inspection app for iPhone and Android, made by Meyer App Studio, LLC. You photograph a property room by room and seal the inspection into a signed PDF report. This policy explains what happens to your information. The short version: we don't collect any. Your properties, photos and reports stay on your device unless you choose to share them or, on iPhone, turn on iCloud sync. On Android, a Google component sends Google anonymous diagnostics, described under On Android.
None. WalkProof has no accounts, no ads and no analytics in this version, and we run no server that receives your data. We don't know who uses the app, which properties you inspect or what you photograph. The Android version includes a Google component that sends Google its own diagnostics; see On Android.
Your properties, rooms, inspections, photos, notes, conditions, signatures and sealed reports are stored on your device. WalkProof also creates a signing key for sealing reports. It is kept in your device's Keychain, never leaves the device and isn't included in backups that move to other devices. Deleting the app deletes this data from the device.
If you use iCloud Backup, your device backup may include WalkProof's data. That backup is between you and Apple; we have no access to it.
The camera is used only while you're taking inspection photos. Photos you add from your library are limited to the ones you pick; WalkProof can't see the rest of your library.
Location is used only while the app is open, to stamp where each photo was taken. WalkProof never tracks your location in the background. Coordinates are stored with the photo on your device.
To show whether photo times are accurate, WalkProof reads the current time from a well-known web server (apple.com, or cloudflare.com as a fallback) when you open the camera and when you seal a report. This is an ordinary web request. It contains nothing about you, your photos or your properties. Like any web request, it is visible to that server, which sees an IP address but nothing else from WalkProof.
If you turn on Sync with iCloud, your WalkProof data and original photos are stored in your own private iCloud database and synced to your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. That data is protected by Apple; we can't access it. Sync is off unless you turn it on, and synced data counts toward your iCloud storage.
A sealed report contains what you recorded: the property name and address, photos, times, GPS coordinates, conditions, notes, names and signatures. When you share a report or its verification file, you choose who receives it, and they can read everything in it. Share reports only with the people you intend to.
The report verifier on this website checks a report's verification file entirely in your browser. The file is never uploaded to us or anyone else.
On iPhone, WalkProof Pro is a subscription sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple handles payment and billing. We never see your card, your Apple Account or your billing details. On Android, see On Android.

WalkProof is a tool for property inspections and is not directed at children.
Use of WalkProof is governed by the Meyer App Studio terms of use.
If this policy changes, for example if a future version adds anonymous usage analytics, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date before that change ships.
